After our morning dog walk the other day, a regular occurrence where Craig and I debrief over various life happenings/news stories/current events, we were both feeling pretty down. Everything we covered was really upsetting, and we both had a sense of sadness throughout the day that we couldn’t shake.

That’s not to say there aren’t things to be grateful for (and happy about), but sometimes it feels like it’s too much heartbreak too often. So today I wanted to share something that might hopefully serve as a little reprieve.

Some of these books deal with weighty topics, but every single one has helped me in one way or another. Whether they brought joy, gave me a new perspective, or helped me appreciate something in my life, these books gave me what I needed in that moment. I hope as you navigate this season, you find comfort in the pages of these books. Any would be a wonderful choice to curl up with this fall.

I truly wish I could provide free access to my work, but at the moment I can’t afford to do that. I know life is more expensive than ever, and there are so many newsletters competing for subscriptions, which is why I offer sliding scale access, so you can pay what you can afford. And if that means you need fully comped access right now, please reach out and I will provide it, no questions asked.

If you are able to financially support my work, you can do so for as little as $3/month. This newsletter has no ads or affiliate links. Paid subscriptions are the only way I monetize this newsletter. Thank you so much for your support.
