I’m a big believer in Signs (from the Universe if you will). I used to be slightly embarrassed about it, but I’ve lived long enough and experienced enough of them to know they’re real, and they show up for me when I need them.

Since I walked away from my career as an influencer I’ve been thinking a lot about community and connection. I started this newsletter as a way to help keep the connection I had with so many of you who followed my career and supported me over the last 10+ years. But more importantly because I wanted to shift that dynamic from one that was structured around consumption and materialism to one that was about being true to yourself, finding your purpose, and living life with more intention and meaning.

One of the greatest gifts that has come from my move to Vermont is the meaningful in person connection I get to experience on a daily basis. It’s not hyperbole to say moving here has fundamentally changed me and my life. It’s something I want to share with everyone and anyone I can, because it is so deeply healing and special.

I love being a connector. Someone who brings women together, to laugh, to cry, to commiserate, to collaborate, to create, and to build unbreakable bonds. I’ve always wanted to build an in person experience, but I didn’t want to do it on my own, and I trusted that when the time was right, something would fall into place.

For those of you in the Boston area, you may remember Third Piece, the amazing small business and knitwear store owned by Kristen Lambert. Years ago I worked with Kristen during my influencer days, and I followed her journey ever since. Back in July, an email landed in my inbox from Kristen, about the business she was launching called InnerWeave, a concept to explore creativity, mindfulness and movement through immersive and intentional gatherings. I immediately thought this was the perfect fit, but waited a few weeks before reaching out to make sure I was ready.

Once I got on the phone with Kristen I knew it was something special, and now, after many phone calls, emails, and brainstorms, I am so thrilled to share this incredible in-person offering with all of you, the InnerWeave Retreat in Stowe, Vermont.

The retreat is an intimate gathering bringing participants together through creative workshops, movement practices, and community building, designed to reset the nervous system and nurture both body and mind. Think knitting, yoga (taught by my friend Greta), breathwork, forest walks, fireside chats, nourishing farm-to-table food, and so much more. You can see all the details about the retreat here.
