Happy Friday! Welcome to the first Click. Read. Love. of 2024. The start of this year felt pretty uneventful (and not in a bad way). We had many house guests over the holidays, and then spent the following weeks hibernating. There were a lot of illnesses circulating through our family in December, so we all needed a chance to reset, and sleep. I’ve noticed not being on social media during these times also makes it more enjoyable. I don’t feel pressure to share anything and I don’t feel bad about doing nothing. It’s really nice.

On that note, I’ll be turning on paid subscriptions for my Substack at the end of this month. I’ll be sure to let you know beforehand. Here’s the best of the week!

Thank you for reading. One of the best ways to support my work is to share it.

First things first, ICYMI, read about my year of buying nothing new here. Occasionally I’ll still share things in CRL if they feel relevant. I’ll be sharing updates on my year of buying nothing new on Substack.

This Baggu bag (in black) was one of my favorite Christmas gifts. It fits just the right amount, is super comfortable, versatile, sturdy and stylish. It’s basically my everyday bag now.

Another favorite holiday gift, this mandoline could not be easier to use and it’s small so doesn’t take up a ton of space in your kitchen.
